Hi, I'm Kristyn. Child of God. Saved by grace. Wife of my loving Prince Charming. Mom to three precious jewels.
My husband and I were married in 1998, at which point our lives drastically changed. I taught Spanish in public school while my husband went through Seminary. After 5 years we felt called to the foreign mission field and began taking steps toward our future service in Peru, where we served from 2005 through 2010.
In 2006 I gave birth to our sweet son that I affectionately call Cutlet. It's a nickname that has evolved, but fits him well, as he is a small cut of his handsome Daddy! He constantly amazes us with his artistic eye.
In 2008 I gave birth to our gorgeous daughter... a rambunctious, adventure-seeking thing with no fear that has appropriately been given the nickname Lively. She loves to sing and prefers to wear a dress over anything else.
Finally, a most wonderful gift was bestowed upon us: our 3rd child, another son. In January of 2012, Tootsie Roll was born. He is so sweet, curious and loves to make us laugh!
Since getting married we have tossed around the idea of homeschooling our children. It has been a process of research over the past few years in coming to the conclusion that we feel the Charlotte Mason method is a good fit for us.
